Scibowl Reader
Last updated: July 30, 2026
Scibowl Reader (“the App”) is developed by Bryan Han. This policy explains what information the App uses and why.
Practice settings, session history, missed questions, and similar preferences are stored locally on your device so the App can restore your experience.
If you enable voice answering, the App may use the microphone and on-device / system speech recognition to turn spoken answers into text. Audio is used for recognition during that answer window and is not sold.
Networked multiplayer uses Firebase Authentication (anonymous sign-in) and Cloud Firestore to sync room codes, player names, buzzes, answers, and scores while a room is active. Display names you enter may be visible to other players in the same room.
The App does not use third-party advertising SDKs. We do not sell personal information.
The App may be used for Science Bowl practice by students. Do not enter sensitive personal information into display names or answers.
